Privacy Policy — AlmiVisibility

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains what AlmiVisibility (the desktop app and the website almivisibility.almiworld.com) does with data. AlmiWorld’s general privacy policy is at almiworld.com/privacy-policy/.

1. The short version

  • Your work stays on your computer. Your projects, reports, drafts and the data AlmiVisibility reads from your own Google account are stored on your own computer, not on AlmiWorld’s servers.
  • Your keys stay on your computer. API keys and sign-in tokens are kept in Windows’ own secure store (Windows Credential Manager).
  • We never sell data.

2. Data from Google

If you choose to connect your Google account, AlmiVisibility asks only for read access to what it needs:

  • Data from your own Google account is read on your computer and stored only on your computer.
  • It is used only to give you AlmiVisibility’s features. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone.
  • AlmiVisibility does not create or change ads. It changes a YouTube video only when you press “Apply” yourself, and it offers Undo.
  • You can disconnect Google at any time in the app, and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

AlmiVisibility’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. AI services

If you add your own AI key (for example Anthropic), AlmiVisibility sends the text it needs (such as facts about your product and the questions people ask) directly from your computer to that AI provider, under your own account. AlmiWorld does not see these requests.

4. What reaches AlmiWorld

  • Licence check: your licence key and a random device identifier, to confirm your subscription. No project data.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your email address and subscription status, not your card details.
  • Website free check (when available): the site address you enter and, only if you give it, your email address, to send you the full report. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Emails are sent through Resend.
  • Updates: the app asks our server whether a newer version exists.
  • Keyword searches: when you use the free keyword finder on our website, or AlmiWorld’s keyword service in the app, the words you search are sent to AlmiWorld. We store the searched words and the keyword results, never together with personal data, so the service gets faster and better for everyone. Search volumes come from Google Ads Keyword Planner, through AlmiWorld’s own Google Ads account.

5. Websites AlmiVisibility reads

When AlmiVisibility checks a website, it reads public pages only and always obeys that site’s robots.txt rules.

6. How long we keep data

  • Data on your computer stays until you delete the project or uninstall the app. Raw YouTube data is kept for at most 30 days.
  • Licence and payment records are kept as long as the law requires.
  • Free-check emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it: almiworld@almiworld.com. If you live in the EU or EEA, you have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

AlmiVisibility is a business tool and is not meant for children under 16.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
